Co-Optimus Community Voice for July 2012 - Who's in Your Crew?

Co-op doesn't always "make" a game, sometimes it's the people you play with that really make a game enjoyable. The game is merely a vessel for good times whether your friends are thousands of miles away, or within fist-bumping distance on the couch. Most people, myself included, have a group of friends who really click and spend the most game time together. I like to call this group "my crew" because, well, they're by my side through thick and thin. They're the guys or gals that churn fun times out of terrible games, and create smiling-so-hard-your-cheeks-hurt moments out of great games.
I'm a bit of a drifter, to be honest, but lately I've been playing Ghost Recon Future Soldier with a stellar group of guys. There's Bakken Hood, the ghost, who's silent, deadly, and smart as hell. There's Justabaldguy, the wise, who keeps a cool head and reminds us to work and move as a team. Then there's CoopBob, the hero, who sticks his neck out and consistently finds the tactical advantage in every situation. And of course, me, uh... Well I'm pretty good at ordering pizza. I'm not too shabby with a sniper rifle either.
This month, for our monthly Co-Optimus Community Voice, we want to hear about your crew. Who rolls with you? What are their specialties? While you're at it, why not tell us about an exciting time you had gaming with your crew? Fire up your blog, start off your title with "CCV" (so I don't miss it), and let your voice be heard. Don't forget to check your spelling and grammar! Post some screenshots or videos, too, if you're able. Happy blogging!

4:07 PMWhen I play halo reach, there are four of us:
Cap America - Me. I sit back and DMR and alert the others to threats, scan the field, give orders
Thor: The barbarian who takes on overwhelming odds, shotgun specialist
Hulk: Hulk actually snipes, and is pretty awesome with an assault rifle.
Iron Man: Knows the maps, in charge of obtaining power weapons, like rockets and stick guns.
It's a good dynamic.

11:54 AMTo me, the most important thing for a good coop experience is getting buddies that are serious enough about gaming that they get into the experience, but not so serious that they rage and take the fun out of it. I game with 5 guys primarily (rarely at the same time, but I get a group of 3 gaming quite regularly). We adjust our strategies based on the game, but typically, Blindside/Corky is the friend that charges the most often, Ghost is more tactical but is also often aggressive, Rocco is highly tactical and is often the one who flanks or snipes, I play similar to either Ghost or Rocco depending on the game, and then Merlin typically prefers to either snipe or fly (choppers are his favorite but he'll cruise around in jets too).
